I have been diving since I was 12 years old and have always lived my life close to, above or below the sea.

I started diving in 2007 and became an instructor in 2013.

My name is Alex and I started sailing because my parents wanted rid of me during the summer holidays.

I am originally from Nottingham, so it goes without saying that I’m a Nottingham Forest fan I have been married for 20 years to Stuart, but when I am not diving I like to read and socialise.

26 years ago I was working on the cruise ships, and was asked if I wanted to complete my Open Water diving course in St. Croix. From then I have never looked back!

Before coming to Latchi Watersports Centre I had never scuba dived in my life, but I can honestly say that the sensation of ‘flying’ underwater is the single most amazing feeling you can have (with clothes on).
