Beach Clean up on the Akamas Peninsula

So today our Team was joined by Tracy & John White. We left Latchi Watersport Centre at 9.30am. Headed off into the Akamas to Fotiades Bay (Amphitheatre) for the Beach Clean Up.

During the Beach Clean Up we managed to collect 15 bags of rubbish. From Paper & Tissue, Plastic Bottle’s & Bags, a Toilet Seat a Chair. And, some Clothes and removed some large pieces of metal from around the area.

An amazing effort by all involved. We even had a little help from some local fisherman and it was nice to be thanked by them. And from the people hiking in the area.

We would like to thank Polis Municipality for supplying us with Rubbish Bags and Gloves.

We are now looking forward to continuing our Beach Clean on Sunday 29^th April along with our other volunteers who have put their names down. If you would like to Join us on Sunday we still have plenty of space for you to join us. Meeting at 10 am at Latchi Watersports Centre.
