From children to adults, we are committed to making your first time experience a fun and memorable one. As you learn out on the sea you will find it to be relaxing as well. First we start on dry land, teaching the fundamentals of body position, technique and safety. Once the instructor is satisfied and the student is confident about understanding the basics, we move onto the water.

Latchi Watersports Centre uses a static Ski bar on the side of the boat to offer stability for the first time skier and this allows the onboard instructor to watch closely and give continuous instruction. Once the student has mastered the Ski Bar, then it is off to the long line! A first time skiing experience is especially important. Latchi Watersports Centre is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment and understands the special needs of children.

During early instruction, an additional coach is placed in the water along side the student to provide safety, guidance and a little emotional security and encouragement. Latchi Watersports utilizes only the highest quality equipment and provides the proper water gear especially designed to help the beginner water skier enjoy a safe, fun and successful experience.
