Hello Watersports friends, Yes, it was a very nice experience. Oh,...let me introduce ourselves. My name is Boudewijn van Beurden and my wife's name is Karin van Beurden. We had the day of our life. It was really a very nice experience for us. We could not believe that we could water-ski! BUT,.....with the perfect assistance of instructor Dave, whom you see in the pcture above, we did it! It was really the first time that my wife was on the water skis. After instructions we had on the beach, we jumped on the boat and went to a nice location for the first practice.

Believe it or not, the instructor helped my wife Karin with her skis. And then?...yes, into the water. Next to the boat there is a bar, the instructor told Karin how to use it and how to correct her balance. The engine started and there she goes......ON the water,.....standing up! Well, she plunged once in the water, but after a few minutes Karin has found the right balance. I can tell you, what an experience that was! Fantastic! We where so thrilled about it, that I hardly had any time to make some photos.

After a while, it was my turn. For me, it was 25 years ago that I had my last waterskiing experience. I started on the "bar" as well for my own confidence. This went remarkebly well and after a while David told me to go on the line and so I did. Wow!!.....it was if I was alone in the world! Splashing water and the sound of the wind. Really, this was for us the first time,...but not the last time. We are coming back for more lessons! Thanks to Latshi Watersports and the perfect guidance of instructor David, we found a new hobby. Wel David,....I am sorry but we are definetly coming back! Ha,ha,....... See ya, Boudewijn and Karin van Beurden.
