BUBBLEMAKER Aged 8 to 9 years and want to try swimming like a Dolphin? Seen the adults do it and want to have a go? Then become a PADI BUBBLEMAKER. Take your first underwater dive here in the Akamas with Latchi Diving Centre. We have our own specially trained instructors, and your safety is assured because we are the ONLY PADI 5 star facility on the North West coast. You can go by boat to the 'Blue Lagoon' and will learn how to breathe in about 2 metres (approx 6ft) of water, in specially designed kids-sized diving gear, and your own kids sized 'Pony Tank'. When you have finished you get a certificate and badge to show just how proficient you are.

After an introduction to the basic principles of diving one of our professional dive instructors will accompany you on our spacious fully equipped 300hp dive boat to the crystal clear turquoise waters of the Blue Lagoon. Here, under your instructor’s careful supervision, you will learn some basic dive skills in the shallow waters and then.... experience the wonders of the underwater world on a 6 metre dive. If you decide to take your diving further this experience counts towards the internationally recognised PADI Open Water course which will then only take you a further 2 and a half days to complete. This opens the gateway to the dive world! The minimum age limit for discover scuba diving is 10. For children aged 8 or 9, we offer a special Bubblemaker diving experience.
